Its snowing outside

Well I haven't written anything in a while. It would be appropriate to say that so far this December has been full of craziness already and we haven't even gotten to Christmas yet. Brittney and I just got back from a week's long vacation in Cabo on Sunday. We went with our friends the McAlister's and Mietchen's. It was good times. I will save a whole blog for the trip.

I do have to say that Christmas shopping can either be fun or a pain in the arse. I like seeing all of the prices go down, and the bargains you can get. I am also a technology junky (more like a wannabe), so I like to research things on the internet before I buy them. I use sites like CNET and Consumer Reports to get as much of an unbiased opinion on a product before I decide I would like to purchase it. I am not usually an impulse buyer. I like to know that what I buy is not gonna fall apart on me or be an extinct product a few months after I buy it. The only impulse buy I can think of is my flatscreen TV. I bought our 58" for $700.00 less than I bought our original 42" less than a year ago. Its the same TV except the size. I was at a damaged freight store and it was on the floor and I knew the TV cause I had the same Panasonic at home just smaller. I bought a fax/printer/scanner with the TV for my office and because I was spending some serious cash there, I busted the guy down a few hundred dollars on the TV and walla......"Big Pimpin, spendin cheese" as Jay Z would say, but its probably closer to "Bargain Pimpin, savin cheese".....I know I'm a dork. But who isn't, seriously....

I must have done something wrong to my back playing sports cause when I get done with my soccer games or basketball games at night my back is just throbbing. I say this cause I also cannot go shopping and stand around watching Brittney pick up clothes and misc things while I stand there with my hands in my pants. My lower back just gives out on me. It first started acting up when we were in Orlando for Brittney's birthday a few years ago. We went to Disneyworld and Universal Studios and I could not stand in the park all day. My lower back muscles just give out on me. It has really started to worry me. I lift weights still regularly and I make sure to do back every week. It doesn't even bother me to work out my back. I feel great after my back workouts, it helps with my posture and I love the soreness of my back muscles. Most people do not realize how much muscle is on your back.
But man.....my erector muscles, the muscles that surround your spine, just give out on me. I have had a few people offer up suggestions. It could be that my legs and glutes are pulling on them and I need to stretch out my glutes and legs more. Or maybe it could be that my upper and lower bodies or bigger than waist and those muscles can support. I know that sounds vain, but I'm not the one who thought of that, someone was just brainstorming with me. Either way I'm gonna try a few alternatives to see if they work. I really enjoy playing sports, and wakeboarding, and snowboarding, so I need to hopefully find a remedy for this.

I hope we have a white Christmas. I recently found out some pretty horrible news about someone very close to me and I have a lot on my mind concerning it. I think that a white Christmas will help. My dad used to always talk about how nice a white Christmas is. I'm not a big Christmas guy, I have had a lot of bad experiences with it, but I do think that seeing the snow fall on Christmas morning is a great thing. I think the thought of the cold brings you even closer to your loved ones that morning. I look forward to many more Christmas's to come. The thought of my lil one's running in my room early in the morning makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.
